THE GLESSNER JOURNAL
Quarterly Publication for Members and Friends of Glessner House Museum
The Glessner Journal is an eight-page newsletter issued in February, May, August, and November. Its title references the fifty-volume personal journal complied by Frances Macbeth Glessner over more than forty years, now in the collection of the Chicago History Museum. Just like its namesake, The Glessner Journal documents life at Glessner House - the comings and goings of special guests, building projects, innovative advances in arts and culture, observations about Chicago, historic Prairie Avenue - and more! There's always something new to discover, so join us as we continue to build the record of this amazing house.
Regular features include:
Message from the Executive Director

Through the Years with John and Frances Glessner - highlighting inscriptions from the original Glessner Journal, written 125 and 100 years ago.
Collections Cameo - featuring treasures from our diverse archives.
