Murder in a Nutshell: A Frances Glessner Lee Whodunit Event!

  • Glessner House Museum 1800 South Prairie Avenue Chicago, IL, 60616 United States (map)

In honor of Frances Glessner Lee’s 140th birthday, we invite YOU to become the detective as we venture deep inside her Nutshell Studies.  Using Lee’s written crime scene descriptions and detailed photographs, members of the audience will work together to unravel the clues Lee placed in the models and try to determine - was it suicide, accidental death, or murder??

Two copies of The Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death, written by Corinne May Botz in 2004, will be awarded to the best detectives, courtesy of the publisher, Monacelli Press.

A special program celebrating Women's History Month.
