Bronze medal awarded to Warder, Bushnell and Glessner at the 1900 Exposition Universelle Internationale, also known as the Paris Exposition. The Warder, Bushnell and Glessner exhibit was housed in the U.S. Agricultural Annex building, alongside exhibits featuring the products of the Deering Harvester Company, Plano Manufacturing, and Milwaukee Harvesting, among others. The McCormick Harvesting Company erected its own building, decorated with a huge scenic panorama depicting its mammoth works in Chicago. Just two years after the exposition, the five companies merged to form International Harvester.

The 2-1/2 inch diameter medal was designed by Jules-Clément Chaplain, a sculptor who was the official medalist of the French government, designing coinage and special medals, including all those for the Exposition. The back side of the medal, shown here, is centered by the figure of winged Victory, holding a laurel wreath and palm branch in her right hand. A male figure, seated on Victory’s back, holds a torch in his left hand. Below Victory is a depiction of the Grand Palais, which housed the fine art exhibition at the fair.
